The Great Park

Yesterday we ventured out to the "Great Park" in Irvine. Ashley and I have been wanting to go each time we come down, but we never seem to get around to it. What better time to go than with Grandma? The best part is it was FREE! My type of activity! Andy went and got Chick Fil A for lunch and we all enjoyed our time. I think we went on the carousal 5 times :)

Waiting for our balloon ride

Going up!
So excited to be on the "Basketball" as Lucas called it

At 400 feet!

There was a crack in the floor so the kids were watching us go back down

We had so much fun! And all the kids took a three hour nap so it really was a successful adventure :)

Where we have been...

This past week we have been just playing with Grandma... it doesn't matter what we are doing, we are doing it together. Mostly we are eating yummy food, laughing, staying up WAY too late, playing with cousins and having tickle time. Here are some pictures from our time:

Dinner at Cafe R&D... a family favorite.
Abby came into town for a night on the town

Making cookies
Disneyland...twice!

Yummy treats at Disneyland

Last night we had a girls night at the mall... we had so much fun shopping, eating, laughing and taking our time with NO kids!

Here is a video of the cousins playing... Lucas is going to be SO BORED when we get home. The first thing he says when he wakes up is "Shea, Ava... outside". We love cousins!

Happy new years

We had a great New Years yesterday. We started our morning off at the park to let the kids get some energy out.

The Grandkids

After naps we headed to Saddleback lanes for some bowling.

Lucas was more interested in rearranging the balls then he was with bowling.
After dinner at Cafe Rio we came home to start the party. My mom bought hats, necklaces, and noise makers for all the kids.

Lucas was not so thrilled with the hat situation.. and apparently I have gained 20 pounds in my face. Thank you Holidays.

Shea wasn't so thrilled with the pot banging.

And a little video of our party!

Happy New Year!!!
