California Weekend

We still got to play with the Larsens while we were in California! (not to worry my sweet mother in law stayed with Andy while we were gone :))

A trip to California isn't complete without some Baja Fish Tacos... I could eat there everyday,

Playing at the beach- Jane's first time!

Lucas played with this shovel the entire time.... moving sand back and forth from place to place. He also loved chasing the birds

Tummy Time
Donut Time
Workout Time- Tracy Anderson Arm workout... Notice how I am NOT participating.

Feels like just yesterday the car looked like this

.... now every seat it filled!

Auntie Ashley gives the BEST baths in the sink. Here Jane is enjoying her bath time.
On the last day we took the boys to lunch at Red Robin. They were both CRAZY. Jumping like crazy maniacs. Fortunately... we were the only ones there.

Flying home... honestly both Jane and Lucas were AMAZING on both flights. Jane slept... Lucas played trains. The worst part was the horrible security people. I just felt like screaming... "Listen, I know you hate moms who travel with kids. But just because you have kids doesn't mean you have to say home and 2. My husband would be here to help but he has CANCER so BACK OFF and help" There. I said it. Now we can move on.
We were all SO SO SO excited to see Daddy. Lucas especially missed him. I captured them reading stories before bed. They are best buds.

Overall it was a great trip. Counting down till we live in California :)

Mrs. Abby Rodriguez

My best friend from High School got married this past weekend. It was a fun excuse to go to California and spend time with family. Abby and I met in Sophomore English class and were friends almost immediately. She turned 16 in November so she drove me around until I got my license in June. We worked as lifeguards together at Wild Rivers. Then our junior and senior year we did swim team. Needless to say... it was a fun weekend celebrating. Here are just a few pictures from our high school days :)
Graduation
ASB camp.. remember when the "wave" was in? Awesome.
 Swim Pep Rally

The Rehearsal Dinner was a bonfire at Capo beach. Jane was my date for the evening :)
Documenting my first sock bun :)

Mrs Abby Mae and Jane

On Saturday night it was time for the wedding. Abby looked beautiful!! Here she is with her sweet mom Sara. I love Abby's parents and spent many days at her house throughout high school.

The sunset was breathtaking and it was such a lovely evening. The food was amazing and it was so fun to get to know Abby's husband and spend time with her.

Abby needed something "Borrowed" so she wore my veil. It was the perfect touch to her dress. And I love that we both wore the same veil.

I am so glad I was able to be at Abby's wedding!
