The Rest of the Weekend!

The rest of the weekend we spent playing playing playing! Lucas would wake up and yell, "Go to Kelly's house, play with cousins" And the cousins would play from sun up to sun down! They would all fall asleep at random points throughout the night due to pure exhaustion.. then wake up and keep going. Isn't that what the holidays are for?

On Friday Jane and Daddy hung out in the backyard watching all the kids play "Chase Owen" and "Mother may I"

Then the kids decided to go swimming.
 Pure Joy.
Then Lucas thought he was Michael Phelps and wanted to swim across the spa. Luckily, Uncle Bill stepped in and saved the day... fully clothed.
 We love Uncle Bill!
That night we headed to Chick Fil A for some dinner and play time. Chadder boy and Owen loved their chocolate milk.

 Sweet Bostyn and Avery.

When did my boy become a big kid?

These two gals were my Black Friday shopping partners in crime. We shopped until we dropped....literally. We were pooped by the end of the day. I think we look like sisters... don't you think?
On Saturday our sweet Meg and Mariah were baptized. It was such a wonderful baptism and we feel so blessed to be able to attend. I remember the first time I met M&M. They were barely walking... maybe 18 months old and so so sweet. Now they are 8! I can't believe how fast time is flying. I sadly didn't get a picture of us with the girlies... but I think a little birdie did, hint hint...

Final attempt at a family picture...

M&M Blowing out  their birthday candles
Saturday night we had the Cousins Christmas gift exchange and Adult Favorite thing exchange. We all had some great laughs and a fun time!

Uncle Bill and Jane

Jane gave to Mariah... here she is opening her gift.
Bill got Jane's favorite thing... a mirror. He was thrilled... sadly it got stolen away :)

The weekend went by entirely too fast... but we all get to get together again at the wedding of our Nice Mollie in just a few short weeks! Hip Hip Hooray. If we weren't our goodbye's would have been much harder.

We love you Trythall Family!!!! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!!!

Turkey Day

On Thursday we got up bright and early and headed to Kelly's. The girls got to cooking while the boys headed to the fields for some football.

Kelly planned such a wonderful dinner and no detail went missing. Each table was thoughtfully planned and beautifully decorated.

We tried to get a family pictures but neither child wanted to cooperate. This was the best we got!
The kids table was darling. I think Lucas ate more M&M's than turkey, but isn't that what the holidays are for?

I seriously dream about my mother in law's stuffing all year long. It is the best tasting food item. Ever. I think I dare say I like it better than the orange rolls. It is made with homemade bread and is seriously divine. So I took a picture.

After our delicious meal things started getting a little crazy. Andy found one of Jamie's extensions and put it on. We were all rolling. But the best part was he walked into the family room and John (my father in law) got up, stuck out his hand and introduced himself. "Hello, I am John Coons" Andy Replied, "It's me dad" and he had to take a step back and then realized it was Andy. It was hilarious. HILARIOUS.

 Daddy's Girl.

Somehow Lucas became the designated Twister spinner. I guess it is ok when no one is really playing... he just yelled out a color and the players picked what foot or hand they wanted to use.
Auntie Tee Tee and Bay Jane. Lucas finally calls Cari Tee Tee and we all love it.
Lucas and Avery play so well together. They are only 10 months apart, and enjoy playing Little People.
In-laws resting after a long day of cooking :)

Thanksgiving was perfect. Family time, watching the cousins play, delicious good, laughter, and reminiscing. It was just what the doctor ordered!

Thanksgiving 2012

I am breaking our trip into 3 posts because I have so many pictures I want to post. We just got back from Thanksgiving and we had the best time. We have been craving a vacation and family time and were counting down to Thanksgiving. On Tuesday we flew to Sacramento to start our weekend.

I loved the boys looking out the window talking about the airplanes. Lucas was so excited to go "fly"!
Jane wins the best travel award for our trip. She seriously was the best baby... taking naps when and where she could, cutting two teeth and smiling at everyone.
Funny story- when we arrived in Sacramento we grabbed some lunch and headed to the nearest Deseret Book. It wasn't near the Trythall's house, but we needed a little gift. When we pulled into the parking lot Andy says, "Oh no! Bill is here!" I said, there is NO way. Sure enough, there was a truck with a "GO Blue" License plate holder. What were the chances that our hosts for the weekend would be at Deseret Book? After debating whether or not to go in, we got the kids out. To our and their surprise we all had a joyous reunion. Lucas was SO excited to finally be with Aunt Kelly. So much so, that he got to go in Aunt Kelly's car back their house.

We started playing with cousins immediately.
 Mariah and Jane

Slowly... all the cousins started trickling in. Lucas was so excited to see Owen, Chadder boy, and Jax.

We all talked and caught up and then headed to bed to prepare for Thanksgiving!

7 Months

Janie Girl turned the big 7 months. I always dread the 7 month mark because it seems like it is mere seconds and they turn 1. I just want Jane to be a baby forever. Seriously. She is the sweetest, best, happy baby there ever was. Lucas was a good baby, but Jane is great too. She is smily and sweet and we love having her in our home to brighten our days.

This is Jane's shy face. She is so so shy! I LOVE it. Whenever anyone besides mom and dad say hi to her she immediately smiles and turns her head. If you are holding her she nuzzles into your neck. Here she was on her way to put her head on the blanket. It is the sweetest thing.
I was trying to get her picture with the leaves, but she was so interested in the leaves she refused to look at the camera.

At 7 Months Jane is:

- Weighing in at 17 pounds, is 27" in length.
- Favorite nick names are still Love Bug and Little Little.
- It rolling over, army crawling, barely sitting up. She gets up on all fours, but doesn't quite understand the concept of crawling. So she will go from all fours to sitting up, and then go back to army crawling to get something.
- Puts everything in her mouth! I vacuum every night to make sure there aren't any of Lucas' raisins on the ground that she can get.
- She puts her pointer finger in her mouth. If she doesn't have her Pacifier in her mouth, her finger is in it.
- When she is really tired she just giggles and laughs.
- She loves to jump. We are hoping Santa brings her a Jennie Jump up!
- She loves her exersaucer and she is starting to like Baby Einstein.
- She is now in her big girl carseat facing backwards and sitting in the cart and the grocery store.
- She still loves Lucas and laughs at him all day long. Now that she is in her big carseat she can see him and they will hold hands in the car. I love it!

We love you Janie Girl!
