On Thursday we got up bright and early and headed to Kelly's. The girls got to cooking while the boys headed to the fields for some football.
Kelly planned such a wonderful dinner and no detail went missing. Each table was thoughtfully planned and beautifully decorated.
We tried to get a family pictures but neither child wanted to cooperate. This was the best we got!
The kids table was darling. I think Lucas ate more M&M's than turkey, but isn't that what the holidays are for?
I seriously dream about my mother in law's stuffing all year long. It is the best tasting food item. Ever. I think I dare say I like it better than the orange rolls. It is made with homemade bread and is seriously divine. So I took a picture.
After our delicious meal things started getting a little crazy. Andy found one of Jamie's extensions and put it on. We were all rolling. But the best part was he walked into the family room and John (my father in law) got up, stuck out his hand and introduced himself. "Hello, I am John Coons" Andy Replied, "It's me dad" and he had to take a step back and then realized it was Andy. It was hilarious. HILARIOUS.
Daddy's Girl.
Somehow Lucas became the designated Twister spinner. I guess it is ok when no one is really playing... he just yelled out a color and the players picked what foot or hand they wanted to use.
Auntie Tee Tee and Bay Jane. Lucas finally calls Cari Tee Tee and we all love it.
Lucas and Avery play so well together. They are only 10 months apart, and enjoy playing Little People.
In-laws resting after a long day of cooking :)
Thanksgiving was perfect. Family time, watching the cousins play, delicious good, laughter, and reminiscing. It was just what the doctor ordered!
