Fun Weekend!

This weekend my parents came in to town to play and hang out. We had the best time! The boys golfed, and then golfed some more, and then a third time while the girls shopped, sewed and ate to our hearts content. For their final night we went to Mandalay Bay for dinner and it was YUMM-O! Sadly, last night was the only time I brought my camera and it died after two pictures!

Mommy and I at dinner...

My computer isn't letting me upload any more pictures... so I guess this is it for now. Thanks mom and and dad for coming, we had a great time!!!

It's Snuggy Time!!!

So for Christmas Andy got me some "Get Snuggies". They were on backorder so they didn't arrive until today. For the most part he bought them as a joke. You see, I am ALWAYS cold. Even this summer I was cold. I always have slippers on and a blanket wrapped around me. The problem is, when I go to fast forward the Ti-Vo, play on the computer, or sew I get cold because the blanket isn't on my arms. (Don't suggest I put a sweater on because 9 times out of 10 I already have one on, with the blanket on top). I thought I would model my "Snuggy" for the world to see. Although it was more of a gag gift then a real one, it is quickly becoming the favorite favorite around here...

Isn't is sexy??

Pretending to sew...

I know you all want one!!!

T-O-N-S-I-L-L-I-T-I-S

Yes I have it again. At least this time we caught it before this happened! Unfortunately that still means lots of pain, no swallowing, and laying down ALL day. I'm also craving a hamburger and fries just like last time. How you come always want what you are not aloud to have? Fortunately, I have wonderful husband who went out and got me some of this...

A lot of these...

Movie #1:
I really liked it... I laughed through the whole thing.
Movie #2:

I liked it better than the first one... now I wished I had read the book. Yes, I'm pathetic... It takes a lot for me not to like a movie.\
Movie #3:

Saving it for tomorrow in case Dr. Andy doesn't let me go back to work.

And tonight these two beauties are back on!

I never realized how boring daytime television is! After Live with Regis and Kelly it really goes down! I used to like The View, but Whoppi's Valley Girl was too much for me. I don't know why they insist on having a "Leading Lady" since Merideth has left. Just have the normal 4.. I think they can strike up conversations just fine.

A big thanks to Andy for taking care of me and the house!

Oops!!

I did it again! The Bruce women are NOTORIOUS for making stupid mistakes! I think this one tops the list... the bow party is Tomorrow, January 3rd!!! I was thinking Friday was New Year's day, which meant the 2nd would be Saturday!

My deepest apologies for anyone who came over!

The good news it, if you couldn't come over today, feel free to come over tomorrow, the 3rd of January at 1:00!! It will be very relaxed with lots of laughs! Bring a hot glue gun and we will make some bows!!

K1 Racing

Well Mommy Bruce did it again... she planned an awesome night out for the whole family! We all went K1 Racing (High powered go-karts-45 mph) on New Year's Eve! Dallas brought his new girlfriend to meet the family... hopefully she still likes him...

Between me and Ashley, dad in the background, grandpa Honey stuck in his mask, and Andy pretending to drive-- we look a little crazy. And in the middle is sweet Amanda...

When Grandpa finally got his mask off his hair was a little out of control:

Ava was scared of us with our masks on, but she finally warmed up enough to take a picture... and her eyes were closed.

By the end Amanda joined in on the craziness....phew!

Some nice pictures with helmet hair...

Thanks mom for a great evening with lots of laughs!!

Happy New Year!

This morning we woke up and were handed an envelope with the following message and some money...

Whatever we didn't spend today we had to give back! So we all hit the Shops at Mission Viejo to play our New Year's day game!! We just got home and here are the results...

A pair of jeans, MAC Lipstick and lip liner, Franklin 2009 inserts, a book, and a hair clip! We had so much fun and think it should be a new New Year's day tradition! Thanks mom and dad!
