(** Sorry no pictures! We accidentally packed all our camera chargers, so it might be a while!)
1. Food
I don't remember the last time I actually cooked a meal. First we were moving so I had no kitchen, so we ate out for dinner. Then I found out I was pregnant and the thought of cooking both gagged me, and I will crave something and have to have it that moment. I just tell Andy, "Baby wants chicken nuggets" (or fill in the blank of whatever sounds good). For instance, last night I HAD to have a Tempura Vegetable crunchy roll from Sushi Plantation. Unfortunately, driving 4 hours to California was not an option, so Sushi Dan had to do. It was SO good. Tonight all I wanted was pizza. Andy said ok, I'll order one from Pizza Hut. Unfortunately, baby had something else in mind....

I had heard Rocco's was good.... but it was delicious! They had the best by the slice pizza so we could both get what we wanted. Plus they had garlic knots, AND the yummiest funnel cake/pizza crust dipped in powdered sugar. I think I may have have gotten my appetite back! My doctor was concerned because I haven't gained any weight yet... I think her concern will be over after my next appointment!
2. Las Vegas Summers
I have been DREADING the summer coming all winter long. No offense to any las vegans, but last summer was just plain awful. I was explaining this to Andy last night, and he said that last summer was awful, because Andy was on crutches ALL SUMMER LONG! Which meant I had to do all the yard work, dog poop scoppin, house cleaning, carrying in of groceries, car washes...you name it, I did it. But today I got a glimpse of how wonderful Las Vegas Summers really are. We had Robby and Veronica come over and swim, Cari and the girls came over and all day we frolicked in the water, ate watermelon and played Colors. It was pure bliss. Plus, afterwards I wasn't covered in sand! If everyday this summer is as blissful as today, I can't wait for summer!
3. Pregnancy
A lot of people have been asking, "how do you feel?" I feel pretty good. I have really great days (today) and really bad days (last wednesday and thursday). I am always tired, but if I get to bed by 8:00 I usually am ok for the next day. My skin is really dry (is this normal?) and I feel bloated all the time. I crave fruit and gatorade 24/7, as well as fruity candy. Sitting next to me right now is a bag of skittles and starburst. At work I have a drawer full of Tropical Jolly Ranchers. We are very excited to find out what we are having next month (Costa Mesa Specialist here we come!). We both feel like it's a girl... but we don't care boy or girl.
Well those are my thoughts today.... I will try and dig out my camera charger soon!
Happy Saturday!

So happy for you. I can't wait to see you with a belly. For a second I thought, "I want to come to the Costa Mesa thing!" And then I remembered it was something that you two should just do. Just remind me of that everytime I want to infringe on the baby stuff.
But I'm coming in the delivery room! I don't care what you say! :)
Jilli,
oh my goodness. i can't believe you're having a baby! i'm so excited for you and andy. you're going to have the cutest little chiclets ever!!!!
love you.
sad I didn't see you in nyc,
We think it's a boy...happiness to you both--we are very excited for you.
skittles and starburst sound so good right now ;)
pregnant women don't have to cook-it's the rule. i'm so glad you're not too, too sick-that's the worst!
rocco's pizza is so yummy. we have one up the street and just had it for sammy's baptism.
im excited to follow your pregnancy progress via blog! you are so lucky that you can actually EAT right now! about 4 months into my pregnancy, i started to eat regularly (dont worry i've gained 20 lbs in like 3 months...) and i totally know what you mean about not being able to cook because you wont know what you want to eat until the very SECOND you have to eat it. haha! we women are so weird.
Congrats Jillian! KT just told me at church on sunday (we are down in Vegas for a couple of months). December is a magical time to have a baby- that's when Lucy was born. And yes, I am always VERY dry when I'm pregnant. Drives me nuts.
Aww, congratulations Jillian! I can't wait to hear what you're having. I'm glad you're as impatient about finding out as I am. The Costa Mesa place is a way nicer place to find out, anyway. The huge screen, the nice tech - so worth it.
jilly! you're going to be the most wonderful mommy ever, i'm thrilled for you!
