With my parents leaving in June we decided to take one last family vacation. Since we will be here for a week I want to post everyday so I can remember all the things that happen each day.
In typical Bruce family fashion the house we are staying in is amazing! The pool has a beach style degree entrance and overlooks the ocean. It is perfect!

A few years ago when we stayed in Cabo we asked a hotel employee if he were to take his family out to eat where would he go. He told us "Taqueria Erika" in San Jose. We ventured out and it was very authentic, but SO yummy. It has ever since been a favorite when we visit Cabo. When we landed we headed straight to Taqueria Erika. The menu is on the red poster board. They are known for their baked potatoes covered in meat and cheese. You get salsa and torillas with it to make your own tacos. It is SO good and authentic-- just make sure not to order the Lengua de Vaca, aka Cow Tongue!
This was Lucas' first time in a pool. He LOVED it. It was just like a big bath tub and he would kick and scream the entire time.
This is "The Office" and it is too die for Mexican food. It is the best and I was SO excited for Andy to finally taste of its goodness. Ever since we have met I have talked about the tacos and the office and today he finally got to eat some, and I think it is safe to say he loved it. Funny Story- So these mariachi guys walk around waiting for someone to call you over to sing (and naturally tip). I didn't get the memo that we were ignoring them so when they walked by I said "La Cucaracha" and everyone said in unison "You have to tip them!".... unfortunately I didn't have my wallet so Grandma Tracy had to tip them... but I got to play the drums with them. Oops!

Last night we went to dinner at La Golandrina or the Original Trailer Park. It has by far the best seafood and they are especially known for their lobster--they are huge! Let's just say I will be going on a major diet after dinner at La Golandrina. I had four desserts--Bread Pudding, Chocolate cake with ice cream, bananas flambe, and oreo cheesecake. They were all amazing, but my favorite was the bread pudding. This was after a tostada salad, soup, garlic bread, and the best grilled mahi mahi.
