Hair Wrecks

So I have quite the fear of getting my hair cut. One too many times in my life I have had someone cut or style my hair and have it be a complete disaster. There are only two people that I completely trust with my hair. Unfortunately for me they live in California. And as much as I would LOVE to go to them for every cut, bang trim and style it just isn't plausible. In the mean time I will document my experience as I try and find someone in Las Vegas that will do me no harm.

Today I tried a new place. I had high hopes after reading about the credentials. Here is the result:
Can we please talk about the bangs? She tried to blend the hair that is growing back (post-baby) into my bangs, but got a little chop happy and accidentally chopped all my bangs off. Not to mention they are un-even. The actual hair cut was actually pretty good. She used great technique and I was rather pleased. However, no one will be looking at the hair because all you see are the bangs.

So in the coming weeks if you see my bangs off to the side with a clip, bobby pin or other hair item you'll know why and not judge.

Since I need a little comic relief from this bang situation can we please re-visit this hair disaster??
Just as a reminder, no that is not a hair piece ponytail, that is my actual hair ratted around. Thank you Hilda, thank you.

I feel your pain, I have never ever had good luck with hair cuts--hence my hairdresser was nicknamed " the hacker" for years and I kept going back. I am in the same boat with my own funky bangs, wish I had gone to hair school pretty much daily:)

I need a front shot of the "Hilda", otherwise known as the Polygamist hairstyle.

When you find someone awesome...tell me...because I too only trust one person with my hair and he lives in CONNECTICUT...so I am helpless out here. I am in the process of growing out an accident/mullet and it's painful. I feel your pain, but you rock the headband so well!
