Memorial Day Weekend

The rest of our weekend has been relaxing and fun filled- the perfect combination :)

On Friday night we tried out the much talked about "Slab" pizza restaurant in Provo and it did not disappoint!
Lucas and I. I kept asking him to smile, but all he wanted was to show me "Toby" his prized procession that he got on our Thomas adventure.
There's Lucas!
Our delicious Pizza. I got the BBQ. Yum!
My handsome hubby eating his Buffalo Wing Pizza.
And of course sweet little Janie girl, just hanging out in her seat.
On Saturday Lucas and Andy went to Richfield for a day trip to visit his grandparents graves. First they went to the Farm to visit the animals. Lucas got to ride and drive the tractor, which was the highlight of his day.
Then they put him to work :)
Here is Lucas at Nanny and Grandpa Dicks grave.
Grandma and Grandpa Coons'
They headed to Fishlake for a quick stop. It was FREEZING so they didn't stay long.

Today we were so lucky to have the Hinckley's in town. We went to church and came back for some yummy brunch. I tested my recipes our for next week's brunch after Jane's blessing, and I think we found some winners. Before they left we took a picture of the kids... Best Friends :) Preston and Lucas played trains for hours. Poor Audra felt a little left out. At one point Lucas closed the door to his room so she couldn't get in. When Andy told Lucas he HAD to let Audra play he said sorry and gave her a kiss. She was a little surprised :)
All of us. We love the Hinckley Family and hope to live by them again someday! (Jane was napping during the picture taking). Thanks for coming by!
After we all took a 3 hour Family Sunday Nap we headed to our favorite park. Lucas would race his trains down each slide.

When we got home Jane was all smiles. She loves her playmat, just like Lucas did.

We love long weekends!

Love all the pictures-- I know there is a picture of drewbie on that same yellow tractor at the same age smiling just as big! Good on ya for visiting the graves, gave me a lump in my throat just thinking about the ol memorial days of Richfield--that Janie girl is soooo sweet what a doll, she is a beauty!
