The four of us... I didn't realize the shadows on us. Darn!
Everyone who came :)
Grandma and Grandpa
After the blessing we came back to our place for a little brunch. I found these napkins a few weeks ago and used them as my colors for the rest of the decor.
Water labels
Banner.
Paper Mobiles and Tissue Pom Poms.
This was the only picture I got of the food... these are donut hole fruit skewers and they were delicious. We also had Pioneer Womans French Toast Casserole and Quiche, banana bread, and cupcakes. Yum!
Trevor Dean left church early to put the french toast casseroles in the oven so he wasn't in the group picture. Jane loves Uncle Trevor! (Fern was at the blessing, bless her heart she is so sick with a cold... so she was home sleeping at this point :))
Cute Lexi was reading the boys a story. Lucas LOVES Lexi and Hunter.
I was so frazzled this morning trying to get everyone ready, the food ready, and out the door by 8:30. So I didn't get any pictures of Jane in her dress, that my sweet grandma bought for her. After everyone left I tried, but Jane wasn't really in the mood... so here is what I DID get.
Shirtless Lucas wanted to join in on the picture fun
"Mom, what is he doing?"
"Get him out of here"
Jane really wasn't in the mood when I wanted a picture with her. And I look tired. We all took a 4 hour nap afterwards and feel much better.
On Friday I got a package in the mail. I was brought to tears as I saw a white blanket sent from my mom with Jane's name and birthday embroidered on it. Inside the message read, "Sweetest Jane, when your daddy holds you in this blanket for your blessing, I hope you feel like you are wrapped in Grandma Tracy's love." I love that Jane was blessed in such a special blanket.
Today while my parents were getting ready to go to church my dad said he wanted to go to a different ward than their typical home ward. When my mom asked why, he just said he felt like he needed to visit the missionaries. As my parents sat on the stand the Bishop got up and announced that today their would be a baby blessing. My mom was brought to tears as this sweet baby in Antofagasta was being blessed at the same time as Jane here in Provo. What a tender mercy! Even though my parents were present, they were in spirit.
