5 Years

On Friday we will be celebrating our 5th Wedding Anniversary. Since we knew Andy would be sick since today he had Chemo treatments, we decided to go out last night. Andy told me to be ready at 4:30. He got home from work and we dropped the kids off with his parents. We drove to dinner where Andy had made reservations to Cucina Toscana. I had never heard of it, but it has amazing reviews online and his good friend Joe said it is a must. And it did not disappoint! It was traditional Italian food and all the pasta was handmade. We ordered enough food for 6 because we wanted to try everything from the bruschetta to the prepared at your table caesar salad, to the sampler of pastas, to the salmon. YUM!

At the end of the meal they give you hot chocolate and a lemon chocolate chip biscotti. It was the perfect ending.

We went back to the condo I fed Jane and we put the kids to bed and then headed off to the movies. We saw Batman and it was so fun to go to a movie!

It was a tender mercy how well Andy was feeling last night- the best he has felt in months! He also tasted all the food when normally he has a metallic taste at all times from the chemo. We had such a fun evening and are so grateful for the fun memories!

Everything looks delicious and clean. Two things we don't have here. You look beautiful and I love your blazer. Andy looks so handsome. It seems like yesterday that we were at Strawberry Farms celebrating your temple marriage.

What a fun night! You both look so wonderful. And I love that Drew could taste the food. Your wedding and reception still are number one in my book. Such an amazing day for everyone especially you two. Happy 5th anniversary. Cheers to the many to come!
