Totally Random- Photo Dump

Alright!! Decided to do a huge photo dump off my phone and record some funny family memories. Anyone even still reading? No? That's alright. I like looking back and reading and see pictures.

We went to Ikea a couple months ago and Lucas was in the play land. I only went for straws (best straws EVER)... but I only had Jane so we walked around. She is such a cheeser.

Jane is going to be a little gymnast. I have her enrolled in a gymnastics class this fall when Lucas is at school- but every time there is a bar she lifts and swings. In between couches, under tables, in the car... We jokingly were teaching her the Olympic walk from event to event and she was doing it. Hilarious.
So I was trying to be a fun mom and decided to take a hide a mat and ride it down the stairs with the kids.... well as Lucas and I were going down Jane jumped in front and we were going to take her out. Not knowing what to do I stuck my foot out to stop and it got stuck in between two poles on the stair rail. It has been 8 weeks and my foot is FINALLY feeling better. Never again.
Sweet baby fell asleep on my bed.
Went to City Creek and asked Lucas to smile- in was blurry but I love my sweet boy.
Jane looking for trains on the same City Creek visit.
Lucas looks terrified... but he really did love this little ride at the new museum at Thanksgiving Point.
In N Out while the boys were at Fish Lake.
Last day of Preschool. He will go one more year... we really miss Mrs Katie, but she assures us the 4 year old teacher is just as amazing.
Thursdays are our designated Library days. Lucas got his very own library card and he LOVES it. We have so much fun each week taking books back and getting new ones. My kids love to read. Right now we are on a major dinosaur kick.
 Much needed haircut. :)
Family picture- We went to Park City with Andy's sister Julie. We had so much fun at the Olympic Park watching the team train.
I am on a new sewing obsession- Taking XL dresses and tailoring them. I have an entire new wardrobe of knee-length dresses. This was my first one.
Jane playing doctor. She took it very seriously.
Tomorrow is my last day of work. It is vert bitter sweet as I have loved my job working at Dr Larsen's Dental Office. I will miss seeing these wonderful people everyday and will especially miss the patients. Last week they took me out to my favorite restaurant, La Jolla Groves,  as a farewell lunch. Yum!
Took the kids to the "Beach" AKA a pond. They had tons of fun and the moms had fun talking and of course getting a diet coke on the way home. Afterwards we all took a shower AND a 3 1/2 hour nap. It was glorious.
PS the beautiful lady in the background in Red is Malia. She has been the kids nanny for the past 6 months and we all LOVE her. Like seriously. She is the best. And she and I can talk for days and never run out of things to say! We are both excited that now we will get to hang out during the day too since I won't be at work.
I had to document this moment! At the market last week they gave the kids these flower things... and they are obsessed. As a sidenote- Andy has been saying we need to get a DVD player in the car because when we are running errands it helps the kids be quiet so he and I can talk. I am opposed to the idea because I don't mind the talking. Anyway... for the entire time on Saturday Lucas kept poking Andy with this flower thing and I of course thought it was hilarious and kept laughing, which of course made Lucas continue to do it. I'm surprised Andy didn't pull off at Best Buy and get the DVD player that day. So funny.
Pre-church photo op. As another side-note Jane is obsessed with shoes and what she wears. I have to convince her to wear what I want her to. Most days I just let her wear whatever because I don't want to fight it. Today she insisted on wearing the silver flats that are 2 sizes too big. On average she changes 4-5 times a day. Time to invest in some dress ups!
Our church has a two sided window and it is awesome for nursery. I LOVE watching Jane. Today I sat and watched for a good 10 minutes. Here she is playing ring around the roseies.

Every Sunday without fail this is what Jane looks like post chruch. No bow, no pony tail, no shoes.... and only wants daddy. She usually doesn't get a nap so she is ex-hausted!
Also, she calls me Emmy and I LOVE it. I hope she never calls me mom.

Lucas "Smile"- No mom, silly face. (And gang signs?)

Lucas at the olympic park- prepping for the alpine slide.

Phew! That was a lot. I LOVE my kids ages right now.  Lucas is honestly the sweetest 4 year old. Sure he has his moments, but they are few and far between. He is doing so well with his ABA therapy and is so stinkin smart. He wants to help with everything and is so obedient.

Jane is sassy sassy sassy. Fortunately, her sweetness makes up for it. Her laugh is contagious and her dancing makes up for her naughtiness. She says the sweetest prayers and loves her big brother. She has the most tender heart and loves baby's. We were watching Tarzan and when the Tiger was trying to get Tarzan as a baby she put her hands on her ears and said "oh no, the baby. I so scared. " It was so sweet.

That's our life as of late. We have a busy couple weeks ahead with Fishlake, California, Dallas Wedding, California for the open house, and our anniversary. Phew! What a summer. We can't wait!
