Last Day of Summer Fun

On the last day of Summer Break Andy and I planned a nonstop day of Summer fun. We wanted the kids to have one final day of summer break before schools started. We first surprised them by going to the Emoji Movie. The kids were thrilled, especially when they realized their chairs reclined.

 After the movie we went to the kids favorite place in Las Vegas- Mini Grand Prix. Forget the fact that it was 106 out, we go-karted the afternoon away. It was HOT and Mable was quite the trooper sweating with no reward, but the kids were thrilled.

 We went home for naps and some quiet time. After dinner we headed to the park to surprise the kids with glow in the dark capture the flag and movie in the park. The first night of summer they played capture the flag and Lucas had been asking when we could do it again. He was over the moon to find out I had organized another round before school. We stayed up until 10 PM playing night games and eating popcorn. The perfect end of summer!
