Why does it get worse before it gets better?
Today we began packing, and it doesn't matter how organized we are about it, it is just a mess until it is all done. The good news is we are moving!! No more snow for us! Here is what our apartment looks like right now... trust me it looks better now then it did a few hours ago! I haven't even started the kitchen yet, any tips on the best way??

I feel the same way about packing. You try to organize everything prior and it all ends up in a big pile in the middle of a room. It's worth it though to get away from that snow.
Packing is definitely not fun. My family has done it a ton of times. I'm super jealous that you get to leave the snow. I'll be stuck in it for who knows how long.
Never fun--but "this too shall pass!" Good luck on the move and pack your things how you want to unpack them (like by cupboards, not necessarily by what fits in the box) Does that make sense? Love you!
