I met with Dr. Thomas today to go over what exactly was repaired yesterday and I think that he is one of the nicest and smartest man I have ever had the privilege to meet. Everything went well yesterday, my ACL was taken out and tendons from my hamstring were sewn together to create my new ACL. Both of my meniscus were severely torn but repairable. I have a special kind of suture in both sides of my meniscus holding it together that the man himself invented, Brilliant. With any other doctor I would have been hobbling around without any cartilage in my knee like Jimmy Dugan. Jilly has been wonderful in taking care of me, and putting up with me when I don't want to be taken care of. I am too lucky to have her in my life. still feeling a little loopy today, but I guess Im not as out of it as yesterday. Although, I think that Jilly and my parents are making up some of the things that they said I was saying yesterday. Thank you all for your calls of love and support. It means a lot to me.

Ohhhhh mr. dugan! Drew you could have been him for halloween, I think we could make you another grey t-shirt with iron on letters :) Dr Thomas is a genius. Heal up soon the Richfield fish grab is right around the corner--oh wait you might run into Dr.T there, never mind
I love watching surgeries...wish I could have been witness to the whole procedure. I know I'm weird but it's all fascinating to me. Sounds complex but you seem to be fairing well. Thanks Dr. Thomas. And we'll see you Friday.
You and Tiger will have to rehab together... you'll be healthy just in time for the Masters next year

Get well soon. The rumor is that Tiger has knee problems because of steriod abuse. You probably have the same problem....
