Ebelskiver

Last weekend we babysat for a close family friend. The mom gave us an Ebelskiver pan as a generous Thank you gift. I have never eaten an Ebelskiver (Filled pancake) nor made one for that matter. Today for conference Sunday we decided to make them and if we liked them we would have it be our new conference tradition. Let's just say they may become our new Sunday tradition because they were SO good. We used strawberry and banana's for our fillings and it was delicious. The pan was from Williams Sonoma and they had a recipe on the back. I cannot tell you how yummy they were. If you would like to come over next Sunday in order to convince you, by all means, the more the merrier!! Go get yourself an Ebelskiver pan!

Sorry kiddo but you have had Ebelskiver's before. We always order them in Solvang and we had them in one of our many trips to El Capitan! By the way, this is dad posting and I am too lazy to change the name.

P.S. I love what a little domestic goddess you are.

My plan was to make them too! Matt's mom used to make them all the time, so I was going to try and recreate the memory. Didn't happen. Oh well.

I think you've inspired me to try this out :) I think Grandma Bruce made a cherry version once when she stayed at Traci and Scott's- yum :) Andy did an awesome job on your tables! I have been telling Zach that I want to try and find an older piano and refinish it- but I'm not sure it will turn out nearly as good. Your living room looks GREAT!
