Today I didn't clean the kitchen. I didn't make the bed or organize the office. Today, instead of letting Lucas play in his exersaucer while I mopped the floors I laid on the floor and played. I watched as he played with his book,
and played peek-a-boo
and prepared to crawl.
Today I was a mom. My house may be a mess, but Lucas and I played all day. What a great day.

Hi Jillian, I hope you don't mind me writing on your blog! I got here from Shannon's. Your little guy is so cute and you are as beautiful as ever! Well I just wanted to say hello and hope you are well. I heard about your parents and now see them on your blog. What a hard thing for you and for them! Hopefully you can go visit them. I am glad your sister is close although 4 hours is still a little far for a day trip! Well have a great week and enjoy your little guy. They grow up way to fast!
