Today I am 38 weeks. Andy is in Provo for work training and I am praying baby girl stays put until Friday. Then she better come! I had an appointment today and my doctor was very pleased with my progress. I am dilated to a 2, "very thin", and the baby is head down and very low. She said I could go at any moment.... Or be like this for another week.
Luckily for Lucas and I my grandma flew in yesterday to stay with us while Andy is gone. Every time I have a contraction her palms start to sweat because she doesn't want me to go into labor until Andy gets home. :)
I feel pretty good... I am hungry all the time and my hips are sore. Im not sleeping much, but I am "resting". When Andy and I were dating we flew down to California for him to ask my dads permission. I knew that was the purpose of the trip and I also knew my dad said yes. So for the weeks following our trip I would get ready everyday (hair, makeup, cute outfit) just in case Andy proposed. After a week and a half of this, and my hair almost dead from all the flat ironing I told Andy just to make sure I looked cute. This is how I feel now. Every morning that I don't blow dry my hair I think, "if baby girl decides to come the first pictures are going to be so ugly" so I end up doing my hair. Vain? Perhaps. But that's how I feel. I guess once my contractions are somewhat consistent I can run up and flat iron my hair :)
That's all for tonight... I'll keep you posted. Once I go into labor Ashley will update for me... Just like last time :)

I'm sure Andy will make it back in time! And then baby girl can come! Can't wait!
So funny! I totally did that too! As soon as I realized my contractions weren't going away I hopped in the shower and shaved my legs then did my hair! HA! You look great Jillian! Praying for a smooth delivery and recovery!
