Sorry it has been such a long time since a new post. We have had major internet issues that still aren't fully resolved. Anyways... in my ward I am assigned to bring dinner to new mothers. Does anyone have any good meal ideas that either you have liked or that you know of? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

I loved getting different things, like a yummy totally fun salad, because a lot of people bring really fatty yummy stuff, but the stuff that is light and fresh was my favorite.
This isn't a meal, but I thought I'd share (Ashley can tell you if it's a good idea or not, because I brought her dinner when she had Ava)... But I always put whatever I make in plastic containers that they can just keep/throw away with paper plates, plastic forks, etc. That way there is no returning of the dishes or having to wash any! :) Oh, and I bring them canned lemonade or a packet of crystal light that they can make.
McDonalds.
Katie has a great recipe for BBQ biscuits that are my favorite prego or not. Super simple and quite tasty.
I'm happy to share some great recipes I've collected from our many travels--give me a call!
PAPER PLATES THAT IS!!
I too love Katie's Bar-b- Que biscuits. They are tasty!Your friend has a great idea about disposable everything. Sometimes I even preset the plates with the food and just take over the same number of plates of food to number of family members. The serving and the dishes are not needed and they can toss everything when they are done and no returning of misc. dishes.
