Halloween 2012 will go down in the books. We had so much fun. The kids costumes were perfect for their ages. I love love loved seeing Lucas so enthusiastic about the holiday. He has really gotten into the Holiday saying Happy Halloween and noticing every store we go into when it is decorated. He knows that ghosts and witches are scary... it makes me even more excited for Christmas.
Captain Hook in full character
Tinkerbell Baby
Smiling
I decided a little last minute to make a costume... so today while the kids napped I sewed on some ribbon, fringe, took a headband from Jane... and painted a feather for Tiger Lily. Awesome.
Of course I couldn't get a picture of all of us smiling...
Tiger Lily and Tink... Tink is sucking on her finger as usual
Cute little Peter Pan
Love the trees and mountains behind us!
This honestly sums up on our night. Lucas had so much fun running and being Hook. He never took off his hat and was such a sweet boy. This is the last Halloween where he isn't really quite talking yet, but still kind of understands what is going on. I loved heaing his "twick or treat" "Happy Halloween" and "Fank You"
Running up to get some candy... with Smee in the background :)
Evidence that Daddy was there :)
End of the night... Pooped on the ground going through his loot.
So real quick... the cutest thing. As it got darker things got a little bit scary for my sweet boy. If the pumpkins were lit or the porch was decorated with ghosts Lucas would say "Scary mommy, hold your hand" and all he wanted was mommy. I of course basked in the tender moment and loved holding my boy's hand. I love this sweet innocent age.
Now it is time to prepare for Thanksgiving and Christmas!!!
