10 Months

We are 2 months alway from the big birthday, and I just want time to stand still. I am not ready for my sweet baby to be 1! But alas, she gets older each day and her sweet spirit we are so happy to have in out home. 

At 10 months Jane...

- Is fully crawling. She is on her knees and no longer army crawls! You can tell in the picture that her little knees are all red from crawling around. She never wants to be held and wants to crawl all day, every day. This makes running errands and church very difficult. 

- Loves all orange vegetables and that's about it... hence the orange little nose! She does not like any fruits. I can sometimes trick her into eating them if I mix them into rice cereal, but usually half way through she figures it out.

- She is allergic to milk. I had a hunch when I tried to give her a bottle at 4 months and she refused to take it and her lips broke out a little bit. Our doctor told gave us the go ahead on yogurt and cheeses, so we gave her some yogurt. Her eyes swelled shut and her stomach broke out in hives immediately. Grrr. 

- She is FINALLY taking a bottle!!! It took about a week of being persistent, but it finally paid off! I am still nursing in the middle of the night and in the morning. I am trying to wean her off, but she refuses to take a bottle in the middle of the night... it is a total comfort thing at this point, but I secretly like her needing me. 

- I have created a bottle monster! Now that she will take a bottle... that is all she wants! She will eat a little bit, but then will throw a mini tantrum until she gets a bottle. It is kind of cute :)

- She loves to play and especially loves to play with whatever Lucas is playing with. Lucas isn't quite a fan, but is learning to be a good sharer.

- She just learned to pull herself up to a standing position. She is pretty wobbly, but is getting better... I just know one of these days I am going to get her from her crib and she will be standing.

- Hates getting her diaper  changed

- LOVES to be chased. She will crawl as fast as she can and when you catch her she rolls over and starts to laugh.

- I just asked Andy what he wants to remember... and his reply was "She only wants mommy" Which is true... :)
