The Sunday after Mesquite the kids and I flew to California for an extended vacation. We needed some sunshine and it was the perfect excuse since flights were so cheap! Ashley had church when our flight came in, so we were lucky enough to have my grandparents pick us up from the airport and hang out for a few hours.
Grandpa Steve (Lucas' Great Grandpa) loves to wrestle with the kids... he and Lucas played the entire time.
While Grandpa Linda kissed and loved on the Bay Jane.

Here is Lucas at 10 months in it! I know everyone thinks they look similar, but Lucas had some serious cheeks!
We were loving the weather and had to play outside!
This tree is in my grandparents front yard and I love it! We climbed it growing up, built a tree house, and Lucas will hopefully remember it too!
The next day we went to the Irvine Regional Park. I have lived in Orange County my whole single life and had never even heard of it! Hello! Where have I been? It was so much fun, and the kids loved it!
