Weekly Update

Another week has flown by and our kiddos are growing up and learning each day. We had a lesson on being Peacemakers like our Savior in Family Home Evening on Monday and it was amazing how as the week went by when the kids would argue or fight I just had to say "Think about how you can be a peacemaker" and it made them think about how to work through their problem without resorting to hitting or screaming. I loved how well it worked and hope to continue lessons that really teach our family how to be more kind, loving and Christlike.

Now for our week in pictures...

Another day... another nap with Mona. These naps are getting harder and harder as she wants to be in her crib. Since the day we brought her home from the hospital I have held her for every afternoon nap and I know we only have a few more times until she stops them for good. Soaking in every minute!
Today Mable jumped on my back and I picked her up and was walking back to the couch to gently drop her off... when she flew over my shoulders and landed on her chin. Total mom fail!! We ended up at Urgent Care for some glue and steri-strips.

Golden Knights day at school, complete with a gold bow and gold shoes!
Mable + Elsa Dress + Napping
Dance Class with our favorite friend Baby Quinn
On Monday it was Charlotte's 16th birthday party at Crystal Palace. It was the kids first time roller skating and they LOVED it. I loved Mable in her rollerskates... my back did not love bending over and holding her the whole time, haha.

Birthday Girl and Mable Anne
Every detail was planned to perfection... including amazing 80's sweatbands/

The other day I realized I have few pictures of Andy and Mona. Love these two.
Sundays are rough... fell fast asleep after coming home and being put in her swaddle suit.
Pre-Church and full of smiles and in her Sunday Best
Dress up as your favorite book character for Reading Week. I made Jane and Quinn matching outfits so they could be "The Princesses in Black"
The quintessential Mable face. If you ask her any question she makes this face before answering. And I LOVE it.

Andy got tickets to the Pizza Expo from work where all the best Pizza suppliers come and share the latest and greatest... including samples. We consumed thousands of calories and ate every type of pizza. It was delicious and so fun walking together trying new foods. My favorite was the meatball pizza and a salted caramel pizza pie. Andy liked all of them EXCEPT the protein infused pizza dough pizza.... the manufacturer asked how he liked it and he had to keep it in and smile.
We finished off the week with Firehouse Subs tonight for dinner and mom's chocolate chip cookies for dessert. I'm looking forward to the weekend :)
